Short Films

Film making is something that has interested me for a long time.  As a part of Department 64 I collaborated with my fellow artists and friends and created several short films which yielded two second place finishes in short film contests.  Our first film endeavor was for an internet how-to DIY movie prop show called Back Yard Effects (BFX).  We placed second in their Indymogulween 60 Second Film Fest.

We later created two instructional videos for BFX as part of an audition process to become the new hosts of the show.  We did not win the job, but it was a great excuse to work on a couple new film projects.

Our last Department 64 film came in the form of “Jim Nasium.”  We created this film for the East Lansing Film Festival and their 48/5 Film Contest.  We received second place finish for this film as well.
